This is not your ordinary Crime Alert, but in the spirit of the season, we (Wayzata PD) would like to do what we can to reunite a lost dog with the owner. Below is a copy of an e-mail we received:

I hope I am sending this to those who live in Wayzata (sorry if you receive this email errantly). I have blind copied many folks who may be able to help our friends find their dog!
Last night (Dec. 21 – very cold!) a little black Yorkshire with a small dash of white on his chest escaped in the Broadway/Park St. area. He is still missing and wearing a blue dog collar. If you find him please call Damon at 612-232-7197. His two little boys miss their puppy!
