Wayzata Planning Commission re-zones Muni parcel, amends Comp Plan

The Wayzata Planning Commission voted unanimous approval to re-zone the Muni parcel on Mill from Institutional to C-4B (Central Business District). Additionally, the Commission approved a change of language to the Comprehensive Plan to include “Municple “on-sale” and “off-sale” liquor operations both by map and by language.

The Wayzata City Council has approved a complex deal with the Vodegal family, wherein an agreement has been reached for the City to secure the parcels needed for the new Muni in exchange for the amount of $25,000.

Friends of the Wayzata Library Trivia and Buffet Dinner Postponed

The Friends of the Wayzata Library have postponed their Trivia and Buffet Dinner that was scheduled Sunday, February 28th, 2010. The events was scheduled to be held at the Wayzata Bar and Grill, according to Maria Saulsbury, Membership Chair. Further details will be released in the fall.
