Citizens of Wayzata are organizing a corps of volunteers in response to an economy that has required painful budget cuts affecting city staff and services.
Lynn McCarthy, a 40-year Wayzata resident, has agreed to coordinate the volunteer project, working with a steering committee that includes Anne Creed, Winnie Willcox, and Mary Bader, as city council liaison.
