Reiter, Frank M. Born 8/8/17 in Minneapolis, and passed into the arms of our Lord on February 3, 2010. He was preceded by his wife of 56 years, Alma Borkosky Reiter; sister, Audrey; parents, Frank D. and Cora Reiter; and friend, Elaine Mason. He is survived by his son, David (Sharon); and two grandchildren, Dayna and Devin Reiter. Frank graduated from Edison High School in 1936. At 16 he worked for the CCC’s in Northern Minnesota. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Frank worked in Minneapolis at S&M Company, then to General Motors Part Division where he retired in 1981. He has been a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley since 1950. He was also a life-long member of Lions Club International, Wayzata and Plymouth, holding all posts and achieving the Melvin Jones Award and Plymouth Lion of the Year Award in 2002. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Wed., February 10 at Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, at 1 PM with visitation from 12 noon – 1 PM. Private interment will be at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka Hospice Program, 4527 Shoreline Drive, Spring Park, MN 55384 or charity of choice.
