Five students have been accepted into the Minnesota String and Orchestra Teachers Association (MNSOTA) Middle Level Honors Orchestra.

Five students from Wayzata Public Schools have been accepted into the Minnesota String and Orchestra Teachers Association (MNSOTA) Middle Level Honors Orchestra.

The five students are:

* Anders Cornell – West Middle School, violin
* Mariel Kieval – West Middle School, cello
* Amanda Urke – West Middle School, viola
* Christine Ko – Central Middle School, violin (seated as first chair)
* Katrina Poplett – East Middle School, viola

Students prepare audition tapes in the fall and compete with students in grades seven through nine from across the state to be selected for the honors orchestra. The students will have a day-long rehearsal on February 12 in Minneapolis and a performance on February 13 at the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
