For those of you who know Loretta Docken from Wells Fargo bank, she suffered a stroke on December 21st. Initial reports from Peggy Douglass and Loretta’s Caring Bridge web page indicate she is making progress:
“Today we celebrated some small improvements. Loretta is breathing on her own and her breathing tube has been removed. The original prognosis indicated that she might never breath on her own again, so this was a big step in the right direction. Her heart beat continues to fluctuate, but the range has lowered and is moving towards a more stable and comfortable rate. She has started to lift her legs and arms instead of simply wiggling toes and fingers. While she remains in a sleep-like state of consciousness, she has started to open her eyes more frequently and has begun to respond with some minor vocal responses. She has been getting into the Christmas spirit by listening to Christmas carols all day long.”
