The Wayzata Bay Center will host the second indoor farmer’s market this Saturday, December 19th. The inaugural indoor farmer’s market on November 21st was very successful and Bay Center merchants are looking forward to having the local vendors back this Saturday to help celebrate the final holiday event at the mall this weekend.
Wayzata’s Winter Indoor Farmer’s Market will once again be held from 9AM – 3PM and will sell a wide range of locally made holiday crafts and foods and will also offer wine tasting and holiday music for entertainment. The first market had an impressive turnout and we feel that the second market will be just as great of a success.
In addition to the indoor farmer’s market there will also be an antique toy show on display that will feature holiday toys for kids of all ages and offer toy appraisals. This has been a popular event in past years and the Bay Center is pleased to include it in our holiday program once again this year. This will also be the last weekend that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Bay Center, so don’t forget to come and visit with them between 10:30 – 1:30, professional photos are available.
Additionally, this will be the last weekend that collection bins will be setup for donations to Toys For Tots and IOCP so everyone is encouraged to help make the holiday season more memorable for those in need.
This has been a very wonderful holiday season at the Bay Center and the merchants would like to thank everyone for helping make it a success and would like to wish the community a very happy holiday and a joyful New Year.
