A 5K walk to raise funds for lung cancer research in honor of Sue Bangert was held Saturday in downtown Wayzata. Sue, a resident of Wayzata and City Council Member, was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer last year. Proceeds from the walk will be donated to Free to Breathe, a lung cancer research non-profit organization.

Approximately 150 friends, family members, and supporters met at the Muni at 11:00 am in honor of Sue. The group walked from Superior Boulevard to Ferndale, up to the Luce Line, over to Broadway and ended back at the Muni.
